AEIDL, European association for information on local development, was founded in order to provide stakeholders in the field - in urban and rural areas – with European information which is essential for them: information on policies and programmes, exchange of best practices, identification of partners, etc. Gradually, AEIDL broadened its targets to the regional, national and European levels, whilst taking new issues into account: the environment, equal opportunities, economic and social innovation and citizenship. One thing led to another and in order to improve its response to demand, AEIDL broadened the range of its services. Thus its services now include the organisation of events, networking, website creation, creating communication products, as well as consultancy, training and evaluation.
As a not-for-profit association, AEIDL offers its services at the best possible price, maintaining its concern to adapt to requirements as they arise, combining technical skill and an in-depth understanding of the issues raised.
