Introduction

Through its array of expertise and technical services, AEIDL aims to promote the emergence of a Europe based on the unified development of its territories and human resources. This is why the association believes that local and regional development has to be understood in its broadest sense: urban and rural development, assistance for innovation and the creation of activities, the promotion of a high quality environment, but also broadening access to employment and training. The participation of the populations concerned is seen as a transversal priority, like a common thread which nurtures actions and policies at the local, regional, national and European levels.
